Job Description:
Turnbridge is hiring Direct Support Professionals for our three extended care tracks in the New Haven area.
Those three tracks are young men's, young women's, and adolescent.
All three extended care programs are in separate homes.
Our Direct Support Professionals, also called Support Staff, motivate and assist our clients with daily tasks, helping them forge a path to lasting recovery from substance use and mental health challenges.
Our staff help maintain a healthy and sober environment in which clients can grow and develop a new set of skills to use in their everyday life.
You will form meaningful connections with clients to support them on their path to recovery and well-being.

male support staff work at either our young men's program or our adolescent program.
Female support staff work at either our young women's program or our adolescent program.
The following shifts are in need to be filled:
Wednesday to Sunday, 2nd shift Sunday to Thursday, 2nd shift Tuesday to Sunday, 1st shift Wednesday to Sunday, 1st shift We start this process by reviewing your resume.
From there, we complete a pre-screening questionnaire via telephone call, after which we can schedule an interview if both we and you feel the fit is still good.

Job Requirements:
High School diploma/equivalent or higher.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be able to pass background checks Valid drivers license for at least 5 years
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and be a supportive listener.
Report changes in the health or status of the client.
Respond to emergency situations.
Transport client to appointments.
Facilitate community and recreational outings, including transport.
Provide support with clients' hobbies, studies, interests, and social activities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
