ContributionSTD/LTDLife InsurancePTOBonusesAnd More!!Job DetailsJob DetailsWe are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Trust and Estate Attorney to join our team of legal professionalsThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and support to our high-net-worth clients on a broad range of trust and estate mattersThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base, providing expert guidance on complex legal issues, and developing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs and objectivesThe role demands a high degree of professionalism, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.Responsibilities1Provide expert legal counsel to clients on all aspects of trust and estate law, including estate planning, trust administration, probate, and wealth planning.2Develop and implement sophisticated estate planning strategies, using tools such as Family Limited Partnerships, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Dynasty Trusts, Insurance Trusts, Annual Exclusion Trusts, Directed Trusts, Sales to Defective Grantor Trusts, Buy-Sell Agreements, Decanting, and Private Trust Companies.3Prepare and review a wide range of legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents.4Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including GST, income taxation, gift and estate tax return reporting, and gift and estate tax return preparation.5Represent clients in matters before the IRS and state tax agencies, as required.6Collaborate closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to wealth planning.7Stay abreast of the latest developments in trust and estate law, and continually update knowledge and skills to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.Qualifications1Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.2Admission to the state bar.3A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a strong track record in handling complex trust and estate mattersMust have Domestic Estate Planning Experience4In-depth knowledge of trust and estate law, tax law, and related legal principles.5Proven experience in estate planning and trust administration for high-net-worth individuals.6Familiarity with a broad range of estate planning tools and strategies, including Family Limited Partnerships, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Dynasty Trusts, Insurance Trusts, Annual Exclusion Trusts, Directed Trusts, Sales to Defective Grantor Trusts, Buy-Sell Agreements, Decanting, and Private Trust Companies.7Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.8Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.9High level of professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.10Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.11Proficiency in legal research tools and software.12A commitment to excellence in client service.Interested in hearing more?
