Job Description:
As our Car Washing/Detailing Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure that Laydon's fleet of vehicles and machines are kept very clean and orderly, on both the interior and exterior.
Laydon invests a lot in its vehicles, so it is critical that they remain in pristine condition.
Responsibilities:
Clean interior and exterior of Laydon's entire fleet of vehicles and machines, including but not limited to carpeting, car seats, and windows.
Cleaning objectives may include quick power washes and vacuuming, to full waxing and detailing.
Use specialized cleaners, waxes or polish, and other tools and materials safe for vehicles.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Ensure all surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Clean one to five vehicles/machines a day, while ensuring quality results.
Keep shop area neat and clean.
Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
Manage inventory of specialized cleaning tools and supplies.
Drive vehicles to designated areas within the facility.
Qualifications:
Experience washing cars.
Highschool Diploma required.
Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
Commercial Driver's License preferred.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work independently.
Extremely detail oriented.
Ability to quality inspect your work.
Reliable and timely.
Compensation:
Non-exempt (hourly) position $20-$22/hour depending on skills and experience Benefits/Perks:
