As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.
Job Description:
Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
Manage the flow of guests by seating them promptly and efficiently.
Maintain a tidy and organized entrance area, including managing waiting lists during peak hours.
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth transitions between seating arrangements.
Provide accurate wait time estimates and anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience.
Handle reservations, walk-ins, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Monitor and manage reservations using the restaurant's booking system.
Assist with any guest inquiries or concerns, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Uphold the venue's standards for cleanliness, appearance, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
Display a strong knowledge of the menu, specials, and promotions to assist guests as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Must be eligible to work in New Haven.
