Consults on, facilitates, and assesses educational initiatives to support senior leaders, their teams, subject matter experts, and sponsored project teams across the YNHHS.
Designs and delivers solutions utilizing advanced instructional design grounded in adult learning principles and leveraging appropriate e-learning technologies.
Facilitates course development and technological solutions to address business needs.
Comfortable working with senior leaders, interdisciplinary teams, and clinical experts across the YNHHS continuum.
Able to work effectively with all leadership teams utilizing independent judgement.

Provide strategic and tactical input on development of educational objectives, outcome measurement utilizing the Kirkpatrick Model, and instructional design of highly sophisticated educational courses utilizing available technologies.
2.
Support the Director, eLearning Education for ongoing development and deployment of the educational technology strategy.
3.
With direction from the Director, eLearning Education, provide system-level support and work with Delivery Network senior leaders/sponsored teams in educational planning and course development.
4.
Provide consultation and project management to System councils/teams impacting effectiveness of educational initiatives and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
5.
Exercise judgement in coordinating and managing relationships with external content developers.
6.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to meet and exceed stakeholders' expected outcomes.
7.
Synthesize desired learning outcomes, objectives, content, target audience, content design, and use of multimedia assets to produce effective and engaging educational experiences.
8.
Lead internal/external team projects and provide guidance to Learning and Development Consultants on instructional design for program development.

9.
Independently partner with senior leaders to assess, design, develop and deliver clinical and non-clinical educational solutions to transform staff behavior, competencies, and attitudes to achieve initiatives across YNHHS.
10.
Combine research, best practices, and experience to understand the educational needs of target audiences and the business systems these audiences interact with.
11.
Provide developmental insights, mentoring, and consulting to internal and external team members with intent to strengthen and develop Knowledge, Skills and Ability (KSAs).
12.
Build, maintain and share knowledge about the tools and resources available for colleagues to use as they increase their own skills to better design and develop educational content and assets.
Demonstrate an ability to transfer knowledge in support of team development.
13.
Coordinate quality assurance and testing processes ensuring optimal course functionality and compatibility with the learning management system.
14.
Undertake efforts to assess and measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and ROI.
15.
Lead educational efforts in support of system-wide quality and safety measures, service-line planning, patient-centered initiatives, and ongoing staff and leadership development.
16.
Consult with system-wide leadership to ensure appropriate use of resources to meet identified learning needs and goals.
17.
Represent the Institute for Excellence in system-wide projects and programs exhibiting leadership and/or consultative presence in identifying educational solutions and interventions.
18.
Undertake individual educational projects working with cabinet members and other senior leaders to drive strategy and build relationships at every level of Yale New Haven Health System.
19.
Guide and support the advancement of innovative educational technologies within YNHHS.
QualificationsEDUCATION BA/BS required, MA or MS Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 10
years of demonstrated experience in e-learning technologies and custom content development.
Extensive instructional design using ADDIE, adult learning theory, and educational technology experience, demonstrating strong consulting and project management skills.
Extensive experience both in developing and leading e-learning education programs and other learning initiatives.
Demonstrated comfort and ability working with thought leaders and clinical experts having national or international reputations.
Established efforts to develop a culture that embraces and leverages a model of life-long learning and advancement.
Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting others utilizing cutting-edge technology, instructional design, programming, project management, and leadership abilities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
