manager
2 to lead and manage the operational excellence of Yale dining units, provide leadership for professional staff and union employees, and ensure that excellence and high quality hospitality standards are successfully implemented at assigned dining facilities. Other duties will include directing the preparation, production, and service of meals, developing and monitoring the operating budgets, supervising and coordinating activities of dining hall staff, forecasting meal counts and determining production quantities, and preparing orders for food and other supplies.
This
position
requires a bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Administration or a related field, and two years of previous food production experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience supervising union staff is strongly preferred.
