The Assistant Curator in the Department of Exhibitions and Publications at the Yale Center for British Art will report to the Associate Director of Exhibitions and Publications. The Assistant Curator will assist the Associate Director with all aspects of the Center's exhibition program, with particular focus on managing exhibition logistics. Under the supervision of the Associate Director, s/he will curate and organize both in-house exhibitions and those exhibitions originating in partnership with other institutions, usually in association with one of the Center's Collection Curators. S/he will assist the Associate Director with planning and implementation of publications for all exhibitions in which s/he is involved. Duties will include budgeting, drafting contracts, setting implementation schedules, executing and tracking loan requests, and managing and reviewing exhibition materials and publication proofs. The Assistant Curator will conduct original research for and assist in the cataloguing of the Center's collection in his or her field of scholarly expertise. In addition, the successful candidate will conduct and publish independent research reflecting the scholarly aims of the Center and may teach or lecture about the collection.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
