Reporting to the Director of Global Initiatives, the Assistant Director will contribute to the development and execution of plans to meet department and school goals related to global curricular and extra-curricular initiatives. A key focus of the position will be to manage aspects of Yale SOM's participation in the Global Network for Advanced Management. Manages the communication with all Yale SOM students to make them aware of the opportunities available with the Global Network for Advanced Management. Ensures the students who participate in Global Network activities are supported. Provides strategic input and participates in the organization of Global Network programs, including communication with students, member schools and faculty. Builds strong working relationships with key contacts from member schools that will host or interact with Yale SOM students as part of Global Network programs. Collects and communicates feedback from students about their experiences in Global Network programs. Identifies opportunities for program enhancements and work with the Global Initiatives team in the implementation of such improvements. Manages lists of key contacts at other school members of the Global Network. In concert with the Director and Associate Director, ensures that content on the Global Network for Advanced Management website is updated. Collaborates in the ideation and presentation to internal and external committees of new Global Initiatives. Contributes to the execution of Global Network Events and programs.
This position requires a bachelor's degree and two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. International experience and fluency in more than one language is strongly preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
