ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)
Strategic payments quarterback of high-value client relationships
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Identifies and closes new client payment acquisition opportunities through interactions with Relationship Managers and development of their own center of influence (COI) networks
Identifies and closes significant existing high-value client payment cross-sell opportunities
Develops and manages sales planning activities through the year
Capitalizes on referrals from inside sales and/or client service managers to up-sell lower value payment relationships
Identifies clients/prospects potential need for other lines of businesses and refers quality opportunities to Bank Representatives
Provides strategic consultation to existing high-value clients and prospects on working capital management processes and optimized cash flow structures
Needs to be capable of seamlessly identifying specific payment products functionality and features and translating those back into a consultative pitch that meets the business's working capital needs
Partners with Line of Business Relationship Managers to outline the client's working capital structure and identifies needs for referral to other Key product partners such as leasing, asset-based lending, investment services, etc.
Optimize returns to Key through strategic pricing proposals while delivering value to the client
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required to functionally understand and be able to independently close opportunities related to traditional cash management products (such as Lockbox, ACH, Wires, Consolidated Payables, etc.) and card products (including purchase cards, prepaid cards, and merchant service processing)
Strong financial acumen including the ability to read and understand income statements
Ability to map payment products and functionality to the working capital cycle in order to provide consultative solutions to clients
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred
Exceptional negotiating and closing skills
Strong communication skills
Technical proficiency with tools that maximize effectiveness of sales process such as client relationship management (CRM) system, client profitability system, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
